Punch Robson Solicitors continue to invest in the next generation of Solicitors

Posted on

This month Punch Robson Solicitors welcomes two new trainee solicitors to the firm’s head office at Albert Road in Middlesbrough, taking our number of trainees to three.  We are sure these three young women are set to become great additions to the next generation of solicitors.

Emily Walker joins us after graduating from Northumbria University where she got her LLB Hons/MLaw Exempting Degree which gave her the LPC and a Masters in Law. Emily has had the aim of becoming a solicitor since doing school work experience, and we are delighted to be able to help her on her way.

Rachael Longstaff also starts her training contract this month.  Rachael has been with the firm since 2012 and has gained invaluable experience as a legal clerk in both the Residential Conveyancing department and the Corporate & Commercial department.  That experience allows us to reduce her training requirement by six months, so Rachael hopes to be a fully qualified solicitor by March 2017.

Emily and Rachael join Hannah Gawthorpe who has been training with the firm since September 2014.  Hannah’s latest seat is in the Family Law team where she is settling in well and proving to be a valuable member of this specialist team.

Geoff Cruickshank, Managing Partners says; “We’re delighted to be able to contribute to the development of new young solicitors in the area.  We hope that our trainees enjoy their learning experience, and look forward to seeing them progress.”

Good luck Hannah, Rachael and Emily!
