Recruitment for a Residential Fee Earner
Punch Robson are seeking a residential fee earner, whether a Qualified Solicitor, member of CILEX, Licenced Conveyancer or an experienced Conveyancing Executive to join their busy residential department with a view to taking over an existing caseload when an existing team member retires in Spring 2025.
The role will involve handling a broad spectrum of conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds. The candidate will ideally have a desire to advance, a following and have at least 2 years’ experience of fee earning, Day to day you will be dealing with clients, managing your own caseload, participating in marketing and developing a professional network, and supporting the head of the Residential Conveyancing Department.
Salary dependent on the candidate.
Recruitment for a Business Apprentice
Punch Robson currently has a vacancy for a full time apprentice business/legal administrator. This role would ideally suit a college leaver who is not looking to go to university but is looking to begin their career within the legal sector.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support for the whole firm together with reception cover.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to answering all incoming telephone calls and ascertaining who to put calls through, greeting people at reception, dealing with queries from the public and clients, assist with any administrative tasks as required by fee earners and partners, maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with clients and visitors in reception and to assist the partners as reasonably required in managing back office functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must and you need to be able to work as part of the team.
You will be supported fully throughout your apprenticeship by Punch Robson and an approved apprenticeship scheme provider which will be completed within 18 months.
Salary is based on the candidate and the apprenticeship scheme requirements.
