We’re proud as punch to be supporting the Tees Businesswomen Awards for a second year

The Tees Businesswomen Awards are back and we are excited to be sponsoring the SME of the Year category award for the second year.

The event, which celebrates inspirational and outstanding female entrepreneurs in our region, will be held in Wynyard Hall’s stunning Grand Marquee on October 24th, 2019.

There are numerous female business leaders across Teesside and the awards celebrate their success, inspiring a new generation of women to succeed in their chosen speciality, creating more female entrepreneurs than ever before.

Ten awards will be presented on the night and we have chosen to sponsor the award for SME of the Year once again. We are incredibly proud to be involved and decided to do so because we want to support the female talent across the region.

We celebrate the achievements of women in our area and in a sector, which is dominated by males and we are delighted to be able to say that we are one of the very few law firms in Teesside with a female Managing Partner. Elaine McLaine-Wood was appointed as managing partner here at Punch Robson in 2016 and is a firm believer in women being just as capable of leading a firm as their male counterparts.

She said: “We have a number of female clients running their own business and it is great to give them the credit which they deserve.”

We believe that it is important to shout about company successes and love to hear stories from fellow leaders and our clients who own their own businesses, no matter how big or small. The SME of the Year category showcases outstanding recent successes from an organisation which is female led or one where a woman was a key inspiration behind it.

We would love to hear from you, whether you’re heading to the awards or have a great success story to share, tweet us @PunchRobsonLaw.
