This Sunday (March 10th) our Solicitor of the month, Helen Snell, will challenge herself by taking on Butterwick Hospice’s 10k Obstacle Course to raise money for the charity.
Helen will join numerous others at the North East venue, Hamsterley Forest, and will face difficult terrain and several trials, including climbing through tyres and carrying logs.
It’s Butterwick Hospice’s biggest challenge of the year so far and Helen is looking forward to a fun, but muddy day, raising money for a great cause.
Speaking about the event, which is sponsored by Swift Timber Homes in Bishop Auckland, Helen said: “It’s going to be a brilliant day and I’m ready to tackle all of the obstacles!
“I’m thrilled to be supporting such a great, local charity. Butterwick Hospice relies on donations to finance its work and I’m pleased to say that I’m going to be doing my bit to help raise those vital funds.”
The hospice, which aims to improve the quality of life for those who have a progressive life-limiting illness and those close to them, offers positive support for every challenge adults, young people, and babies may encounter during their illness.
Helen is hoping to raise over £100 for the charity. If you would like to support her and help raise money for Butterwick Hospice, head to Helen’s Virgin Money Giving page to make a donation: uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=HelenSnell2&pageUrl=1
Good luck Helen from all of the Punch Robson team!
