We are seeking a motivated experienced solicitor, to work independently in our busy Family department which covers a wide variety of areas including divorce, financial remedy, separation and private children matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and promoting the department together with the firm.
Accustomed to handling matters from inception to completion, and experience of conducting your own advocacy, the successful candidate will take over an existing caseload of privately funded cases in respect of divorce, financial remedy and private children matters. A demonstrable appreciation of good practice in private client billing procedures and legal aid applications is required.
We have offices at Ingleby Barwick and Coulby Newham, and you will be required to take instructions and provide advice, showing an ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritising your workload and progressing matters accordingly. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills with a range of people from all backgrounds and work as a team member with different levels of staff. You will need to be self-serving using Microsoft packages and have a current full driving licence.
Salary dependent upon experience.
