Josh graduated from the University of York with his law degree in 2016 and went on to complete his joint Masters LPC at Leeds Beckett University. He began his two-year training contract with Punch Robson in September 2017.
Josh is particularly interested in mental health, family and litigation. In the summer of 2016 he did work experience at a mental health legal firm, which involved attending interviews and shadowing the legal professionals working on mental health wards. Josh also volunteered with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau in Stockton where he met with clients to offer solutions on a range of legal issues, including benefits, employment and family.
Josh’s first seat at Punch Robson is in the litigation department at the Head Office in Ingleby Barwick. There he will spend 6 months assisting the team with general duties including file management, research and handling claims forms, before moving to another department.
Outside of work Josh enjoys playing football twice a week and cycling. He especially enjoyed doing the Coast to Coast in September 2015.
