Insolvency
Our legal team has substantial experience in this often-complex field. Our expertise covers both commercial and personal insolvency and all matters involving a detailed knowledge of the Insolvency and Companies Acts.
Landlord and Tenant
This area is a potential minefield for the uninitiated. It is a vast area covering issues ranging from the creation and termination of leases to the breach and enforcements of covenants. We act for both landlords and tenants in connection with business and residential tenancies. We both pursue and defend proceedings for possession on behalf of clients including dealing with claims to evict squatters. Even serving the correct notice to quit can be a headache for the uninitiated. Let us take the worry away from you.
Negligence/Nuisance Claims
We deal with all aspects of these types of claims.
Neighbour/Boundary Disputes
This is an area with potential for great stress. We aim to deal with matters sensitively and constructively. Whether the dispute is over a boundary or rights of way or excess noise the matter will be considered legally as well as practically. We offer particular expertise in this area.
Partnership Disputes
We frequently advise and act for partners in dispute with their present or former business associates. Invariably such disputes cause emotions to run high. We aim to give practical advice to enable matters to be resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Professional Negligence
Unfortunately, it is a fact of life that people do make mistakes. We act for both claimants and defendants to maximise or minimise the cost or compensation payable. We handle claims against people such as architects, accountants, surveyors and solicitors.
Sale of Goods/Consumer Matters
We provide advice on a wide range of consumer issues from timeshare properties to disputes over the quality of goods supplied and services rendered. We advise on technical consumer contracts to determine their fairness and are familiar with Consumer Credit Act finance agreements.
Shareholder Disputes
We have experience of advising minority shareholders and shareholders in deadlock companies.

No Win, No Fee
We are probably one of the few firms locally to undertake non-personal injury claims under Conditional Fee Agreements (CFA). Not every case will be suitable for this type of agreement but we can make an assessment on a case-by-case basis.
