Beth joined Punch Robson in September 2017 and is currently seated in our commercial department where she assists with a variety of cases involving commercial property and commercial transactions.
During her two-year training contract with us, Beth will take seats in our various departments to gain experience in different areas of law before specialising.
Originally from Newcastle, Beth completed her LPC at The University of Law in Manchester shortly before joining our team. Prior to that she had completed her undergraduate law degree at Durham University.
Beth is particularly interested in litigation and family law. She studied her LPC in conjunction with a masters in family law and was awarded a high distinction of 80%. She chose to focus specifically on pre-nuptial agreements and whether the law concerning it should be reformed.
Whilst at university, Beth sharpened her organisational skills as Events Officer for her college – planning special occasions such as the summer ball. She also volunteered with young offenders in Bishop Auckland, offering them emotional and practical support with everyday troubles they faced.
In her spare time Beth enjoys playing netball and regularly goes to the gym.
